Verse 41

मध्वपाययत स्वच्छं सोत्पलं दयिताऽन्तिके ।आत्मानं सुरताऽऽभोग-विश्रम्भोत्पादनं मुहुः ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: Mixed with blue lotuses, the clear wine, a producer of confidence for fuller sexual intercourse, caused itself to be drunk by the side of the loving persons,

Verse 42

अभीषयन्त ये शक्रं राक्षसा रण-पण्डिताः ।अविस्मापयमानस्तान्कपिरोटीद्गृहाद्गृहम् ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: Without causing dismay to the demons who, being expert in fighting, had frightened Indra, the monkey wandered from house to house.

Verse 43

सीतां दिदृक्षुः प्रच्छन्नः सोऽगर्धयत राक्षसान् ।अवञ्चयत मायाश्च स्व-मायाभिर्नरद्विषाम् ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: Desirous of seeing Sita he, confounded, incognito, the demons and rebutted the magical tricks of the cannibals by means of his own magical devices.

Verse 44

अपलापयमानस्य शत्रूंस्तस्याऽभवन्मतिः । "मिथ्या कारयते चारैर्घोषणां राक्षसाऽधिपः" ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: To him who was outwitting (his) enemies, the thought occurred—The king of demons renders the proclamation by the spies to be untrue.

Verse 45

गूहमानः स्व-माहात्म्यमटित्वा मन्त्रि-संसदः । नृभ्योऽपवदमानस्य रावणस्य गृहं ययौ ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: Concealing his greatness and after roaming over the residences of the ministers, he went to the house of Ravana who was reviling men ;

Verse 46

दिशो द्योतयमानाभिर्दिव्य-नारीभिराकुलम् । श्रियमायच्छमानाभिरुत्तमाभिरनुत्तमाम् ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: -(the house) crowded by excellent divine damsels that illuminated the (ten) quarters and bore unparallelled beauty ;

Verse 47

नित्यमुद्यच्छमानाभिः स्मरसंभोग-कर्मसु । जानानाभिरलं लीला-किल किंचित-विभ्रमान् ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: -(the damsels ) who were always enthusiastic in acts of sexual enjoyment, and who were amply conversant with (lovers' actions like) lila, kilakificita and vibhraa;

Verse 48

स्वं कर्म कारयन्नास्ते निश्चिन्तो या झष-ध्वजः । स्वार्थं कारयमाणाभिर्यूनो मद-विमोहितान् ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: -(the damsels) by making whom accomplish his task, Cupid rests carefree and who make young men, seduced by intoxication, fulfil their own purpose (of sex-enjoyment);

Verse 49

कान्तिं स्वां वहमानाभिर्यजन्तीभिः स्व-विग्रहान् । नेत्रैरिव पिबन्तीभिः पश्यतां चित्त-संहतीः ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: - the damsels) who bore their own lustre, offered their bodies which was drunk, as it were, with their eyes, by the hosts of the minds of onlookers.

Verse 50

ता हनूमान्पराकुर्वन्नगमत्पुष्पकं प्रति । विमानं मन्दरस्याद्रेरनुकुर्वदिव श्रियम् ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: Ignoring them, Hanuman went to the arial vehicle Puspaka which imitated, as it were, the grandeur of the Mandara mountain.
