Verse 111
अग्न्याहित-जन-प्रह्वे विजिगीषा-पराङ्मुखे। । कस्माद्वा नीति-निष्णस्य संरम्भस्तव तापसे ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: Or on what account is this wrath of yours (who are) an expert in polity, towards an ascetic who is humble to the fire-worshipping people and averse to the desire for conquest ?

Verse 112
न सर्व-रात्र-कल्यान्यः स्त्रियो वा रत्न-भूमयः । यं विनिर्जित्य लभ्यन्ते कः कुर्यात्तेन विग्रहम् ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: Who would pick up a cudgel against him, after vanquishing whom neither women auspicious through all nights nor jewels nor lands may be acquired ?

Verse 113
संगच्छ राम-सुग्रीवौ भुवनस्य समृद्धये । रत्न-पूर्णाविवाऽम्भोधी हिमवान्पूर्व-पश्चिमौ ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: ‘‘Unite (yourself ) with Rama and Sugriva for the prosperity of the world, just as the Himalaya joins the Eastern and the Western Oceans full of jewels.

Verse 114
सुहृदौ राम-सुग्रीवौ किंकराः कपि-यूथ-पाः । पर-दाराऽर्पणेनैव-लभ्यन्ते मुञ्च मैथिलीम् ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: The two friends, Rama and Sugriva, and servants (like) the commanders of monkey troops would be secured only by the return of the wives of others. (So) release Sita.

Verse 115
धर्मं प्रत्यर्पयन्सीतामर्थं रामेण मित्रताम् । कामं विश्वास-वासेन सीतां दत्त्वाऽऽप्नुहि त्रयम् ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: Having restored Sita, acquire the trio, of righteousness (in the form of ) the return of Sita, riches (in the form of friendship with Rama and enjoyment by living in confidence (without fear).

Verse 116
विराध-ताडका-वालि-कबन्ध-खर-दूषणैः । न च न ज्ञापितो यादृड्मारीचेनाऽपि ते रिपुः ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: Not that it was not made known to you as to what sort thy enemy (Rama) (is), by Viradha, Tataka, Vali, Kabandha, Khara, Dusana and also by Marica.

Verse 117
खराऽऽदि-निधनं चाऽपि मा मंस्था वैर-कारणम् ।आत्मानं रक्षितुं यस्मात्कृतं तन्न जिगीषया" ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: And, also do not regard the death of Khara and others as a (fit ) cause of enmity, for it was done towards protecting himself and not through a desire for conquest.”

Verse 118
ततः क्रोधाऽनिलाऽऽपात- कम्प्राऽऽस्याऽम्भोज-संहतिः । महा-ह्रद इव क्षुभ्यन्कपिमाह स्म रावणः ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: Then getting agitated like a huge lake, Ravana, the host of whose lotus-like faces quivered on account of the blows of his wind-like anger, spoke to the monkey.

Verse 119
"हत-राक्षस-योधस्य विरुग्णोद्यान-शाखिनः । दूतोऽस्मीति ब्रुवाणस्य किं ? दूत-सदृशं तव ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: ‘‘Of you who killed the warrior-demons, shattered the trees in the grove and are saying(that) { am an emissary', what is there (in you) that befits an emissary ?

Verse 120
पङ्गु-बाल-स्त्रियो निघ्नन्कबन्ध खर-ताडकाः । तपस्वी यदि काकुत्स्थः कीदृक् ? कथय पातकी ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: If Rama, killing the crippled Kabandha, the child Khara and the woman Tadaka , is (yet) a (poor) ascetic, say of what sort is a sinner.
