Verse 91
परिशेषं न नामाऽपि स्थापयिष्यति ते विभुः ।अपि स्थाणुं जयेद्रामो भवतो ग्रहणं कियत् ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: The omnipotent Rama will not let even your name remain as a remnant. Rama can vanquish even Siva; how (insignificant) then is your seizure (by him)

Verse 92
अपि स्तूह्यपिसेधाऽस्मांस्तथ्यमुक्तं नराऽशन् ! ।अपि सिञ्चेः कृशानौ त्वं दर्पं मय्यपि योऽभिकः ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: Oh cannibal, you may as well praise or censure us ; the truth has been stated (by me. Lustful towards me, be you damned, to shed your heat (semen) in fire.

Verse 93
अधिरामे पराक्रान्तमधिकर्ता स ते क्षयम्" ।इत्युक्त्वा मैथिली तूष्णीमासांचक्रे दशाननम् ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: ‘‘valour (abides) in Rama as its lord; he is sure to bring about your destruction. Having spoken thus to Ravana, Sita sat silent.

Verse 94
ततः खड्गं समुद्यम्य रावणः क्रूर-विग्रहः । वैदेहीमन्तरा क्रुद्धः क्षणमूचे विनिश्वसन् ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: Thereupon, having flourished his sword between Sita (and himself), the enraged Ravana spoke after having heaved sighs for a moment.

Verse 95
"चिरेणाऽनुगुणं प्रोक्ता प्रतिपत्ति-पराङ्मुखी । न मासे प्रतिपत्तासे मां चेन्मर्तासि मैथिलि !" ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: Addressed in agreeable words for a long time ( and yet ) averse to compliance, you shall die, Oh Mithila Princess, if you will not accept me within a month."

Verse 96
प्रायुङ्क्त राक्षसीर्भीमा मन्दिराय प्रतिव्रजन् । "भयानि दत्त सीतायै सर्वा यूयं कृते मम।" ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: Returning to his palace, he ordered dreadful demonesses, ‘‘All of you give threats to Sita for my sake.’’

Verse 97
गते तस्मिन्समाजग्मुर्भयाय प्रति मैथिलीम् । राक्षस्यो रावण-प्रीत्यै क्रूरं चोचुरलं मुहुः ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: (Ravana) having gone, the demonesses assembled around the Mithila Princess and , towards (arousing) terror (in her), they repeatedly uttered cruel (words) in profusion, to the delight of Ravana.

Verse 98
"रावणाय नमस्कुयाः स्यात्सीते ! स्वस्ति ते ध्रुवम् ।अन्यथा प्रातराशाय कुर्याम त्वामलं वयम् ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: "Oh Sita, bow down to Ravana ; (then) welfare shall certainly be yours (for ever). Otherwise we shall make you suffice for (our) morning meal."

Verse 99
तृणाय मत्वा ताः सर्वा वदन्तीस्त्रिजटाऽवदत् । "आत्मानं हत दुर्वृत्ताः ! स्व-मांसैः कुरुताऽशनम् ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: (One of the demonesses named) Trijata, considering them who were speaking thus (as contemptible) as grass, said, Misbehaved (wretches) !kill yourselves. Make a meal with your own flesh.

Verse 100
अद्य सीता मया दृष्टा सूर्यं चन्द्रमसा सह । स्वप्ने स्पृशन्ती मध्येन तनुः श्यामा सुलोचना ॥
Metre: अनुष्टुप्
Karandikar: The charming-eyed, slender-waisted, young Sita was seen by me today in a dream, touching the sun along with the moon.
