Verse 101

"मा शोचिष्ट रघु-व्याघ्रौ नाऽमृषातामिति ब्रुवन् ।अवाबुद्ध स नीलाऽऽदीन्निहतान्कपि-यूथ-पान् ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: “Do not grieve, the tiger-like Raghu Princes are not dead." He came to know that the monkey commanders Nila and others were slain.

Verse 102

तत्रैषज्जाम्बवान्प्राणीदुदमीलीच्च लोचने । पौलस्त्यं चाऽगदीत् "कच्चिदजीवीन्मारुताऽऽत्मजः।" ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: Among them Jambavan breathed slightly and opened his eyes, and spoke to Vibhisana (Paulastya), Has the Son of the Wind survived per chance ?

Verse 103

तस्य क्षेमे महा-राज ! नाऽमृष्मह्यखिला वयम्। । पौलस्त्योऽशिश्रवत्तं च जीवन्तं पवनाऽऽत्मजम् ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: Oh great King, in (case of) his safety all of us may not die." And Vibhisana reported to him that the Son of the Wind was alive.

Verse 104

आयिष्ट मारुतिस्तत्र तौ चाऽप्यहृषतां ततः । प्राहैष्टां हिमवत्-पृष्ठे सर्वौषधि-गिरिं ततः ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: Maruti arrived there and thereupon both of them rejoiced; then (the two) dispatched behind Himalaya to the mountain of all medical herbs.

Verse 105

तौ हनूमन्तमानेतुमोषधीं मृत-जीविनीम् । सन्धान-करणीं चाऽन्यां वि-शल्य-करणीं तथा ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: -Maruti, to fetch the herb which revived the dead (myrtajiwan), which joined together broken bones (sandhana karan) and also another one which completely healed wounds.

Verse 106

प्रोदपाति नभस्तेन स च प्रापि महा-गिरिः । यस्मिन्नज्वलिषू रात्रौ महौषध्यः सहस्र-शः ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: The sky was dived into by him (Hanuman) and he reached the huge mountain whereupon the important herbs shone brightly by the thousands at night

Verse 107

निरचायि यदा भेदो नौषधीनां हनू-मता । सर्व एव समाहारि तदा शैलः महौषधिः ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: When the distinction between the medicinal herbs was not determined by Hanuman, then the whole mountain along with the herbs was brought (by him) there (to Lanka).

Verse 108

प्राणिषुर्निहताः केचित्केचित्तु प्रोदमीलिषुः । तमोऽन्येऽहासिषुर्योधा व्यजृम्भिषत चाऽपरे ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: Some of the dead, breathed again; some, on the other hand, opened (their eyes) ; other warriors abandoned darkness (unconsciousness) and still others yawned.

Verse 109

अजिघ्रपंस्तथैवाऽन्यानोषधीरालिपंस्तथा ।एवं तेऽचेतिषुः सर्वे वीर्यं चाऽधिषताऽधिकम् ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: He made (them) smell the herbs; so also smeared others (with them); thus they all came back to life and acquired greater strength.

Verse 110

अजिह्लदत्स काकुत्स्थौ शेषांश्चाऽजीजिवत्कपीन् । हनूमानथ ते लङ्का- मग्निनाऽदीदिपन्द्रुतम् ॥

Metre: अनुष्टुप्

Karandikar: Hanuman delighted the two Kakutstha princes and revived the remaining monkeys ; thereafter, they hastily ignited Lanka with fire.
