Karandikar:
Comprehensible with (the help of) a commentary, if this (epic) poem may becomes a festivity for the highly intelligent, (it is) enough. Those of deficient intellect have been disappointed by me in this regard, on account of (my) fondness for the learned.
Karandikar:
This (epic) poem was composed by me in Valabhi, governed by Narendra, the son of Sridhara. May fame accrue to the king hereby, for the king is a producer of delight to the subjects.
