उच्चैःश्रवा
वरोऽश्वानां
राज्ञां
वैश्रवणो
वरः

महेन्द्रो
देवानां
कर्णः
प्रहरतां
वरः
॥
English Translation
Uchchaishravas is the best of all horses, Vaishravana is the best of the Yakshas; and Indra is the foremost of the celestials; so also Karna is the best of all smiters.
