यद्बलं
धार्तराष्ट्राणां
पाण्डवानां
यतो
भयम्
।
सोऽर्जुनेन
हतः
कर्णः
प्रतिमानं
धनुष्मताम्
॥
English Translation
That Karna who had been the strength of all the Dhartarashtras and who had been the object of terror to the Pandavas and who, again, had been the type of the best of all bowmen, was slain by Arjuna.
