च्छिन्नः
सहसा
भूमौ
निपपात
महानसिः
।
अवशस्य
स्थितं
हस्ते
तं
खड्गं
सत्सरुं
तदा
॥
English Translation
That strong sword, being thus cut-off, dropped down upon the ground all on a sudden. But, O descendant of the Bharata race, the other half of the sword still rested in the hand of that Sutasoma.
