नाम्ना
ह्यासीदृषिः
पुरा
॥
English Translation
Through this curse of the foremost of Rishis, the child of Utathya was born blind and remained so for a long time. It was, therefore, that that Rishi, in days of yore, passed by the name of Dirghatamas.
