वेदस्याध्ययनं
हीदं
तच्च
कार्यं
महत्स्मृतम्
।
स्तुत्यर्थमिह
देवानां
वेदाः
सृष्टाः
स्वयंभुवा
॥
English Translation
These are the rules about the study of the Vedas. This again is considered as a high task. The Vedas were created by the Self-create for the purpose of praising the gods therewith.
