तं
चेन्मृत्युः
सर्वहरोऽभिरक्षते;
सदाप्रमत्तः
समरे
पाण्डुपुत्रम्
।
तं
वा
हनिष्यामि
समेत्य
युद्धे;
यास्यामि
वा
भीष्ममुखो
यमाय
॥
English Translation
Even if death himself the destroyer of all, protects vigilantly the son of Pandu, in battle I will either kill him or go myself to the abode of death following Bhishma.
