Chapter 8.24 - Verse 103

Sanskrit Text

तथैव वेदाश्चतुरो हयाग्र्या; धरा सशैला रथो महात्मन् नक्षत्रवंशोऽनुगतो वरूथे; यस्मिन्योद्धा सारथिनाभिरक्ष्यः

English Translation

So also, the four Vedas have become the four horses, the best of their species, of that high-souled Deity; and the Earih, among with the numerous mountains, had become his car. The equipments of that car were the constellations. The warrior (who will fight from that car) is Hara. But who will be the charioteer, is still unfound.
