ह्रीमानवति
देवांश्च
पितॄनात्मानमेव
च
।
तेनामृतत्वं
व्रजति
सा
काष्ठा
पुण्यकर्मणाम्
॥
English Translation
The man endued with a sense of shame pleases the gods, the Pitris and his own self; and by this does he obtain immortality which is the goal of men attached to virtuous acts.
