ततस्तु
राजवचनाद्राक्षसाः
कामरूपिणः
।
निर्ययुर्विकृताकाराः
सहस्रशतसंघशः
॥
English Translation
Then, at the command of the king, hundreds and thousands of Rakshasas of unnatural shapes and who could assume any form they liked, issued out (of the city to meet the enemy).
