अस्यैव
वरदानाद्धि
स्मृतिर्न
प्रजहाति
माम्
।
दीर्घमायुश्च
कौन्तेय
स्वच्छन्दमरणं
तथा
॥
English Translation
O son of Kunti, in consequence of the boon bestowed upon me by that deity O my child, memory does not fail, that the period of my life is long and that death itself is under my control.
