क्रोधमुत्पतितं
हित्वा
सुशीलो
वीतमत्सरः
।
अन्नदः
प्राप्नुते
राजन्दिवि
चेह
च
यत्सुखम्
॥
English Translation
That man who, shorn of irrepressible anger and becoming righteous in nature and freed from malice, makes gifts of food, is sure to acquire happiness, O king, both in this world and in the next.
