हित्वा
ग्राम्यसुखाचारं
तप्यमानो
महत्तपः
।
अरण्ये
फलमूलाशी
चरिष्यामि
मृगैः
सह
॥
English Translation
Abandoning the pleasures and what men do in this world, and practising the austerity of penances, I shall wander in the forest, with the animals dwelling there, living on fruits and roots!
