सर्वाश्रमपदे
ह्याहुर्गार्हस्थ्यं
दीप्तनिर्णयम्
।
पावनं
पुरुषव्याघ्र
यं
वयं
पर्युपास्महे
॥
English Translation
The learned declare that the Garhasthya, which we follow, is superior to all the other modes of life. The conclusions regarding it are very clear. It is certainly sacred, O foremost of men.
