त्रिः
परिक्रान्तवानेतत्सुपर्णो
धर्ममुत्तमम्
।
यस्मात्तस्माद्व्रतं
ह्येतत्त्रिसौपर्णमिहोच्यते
॥
English Translation
The Rishi Suparna used to recite this excellent religion, three times during the day. Therefore it passed by the name of Trisauparna in the world.
