मृतश्च
स्वजनं
न
ज्ञास्यसि
कथंचन
।
सुखितं
दुःखितं
वापि
ननु
बोद्धव्यमात्मना
॥
English Translation
After your relatives have been carried away from this world by death, you cannot know what becomes of them there,—that is, whether they are happy or miserable. This fact ought to awaken you.
