एवमुक्त्वा
स
कौन्तेय
वृत्रः
प्राणानवासृजत्
।
योजयित्वा
तथात्मानं
परं
स्थानमवाप्तवान्
॥
English Translation
Bhishma continued Having said these words, O son of Kunti, Vritra renounced his life-breaths, uniting his soul (with the Supreme Soul), and attained to highest station.
