ब्रह्मवर्चसहीनस्य
स्वाध्यायविरतस्य
च
।
गोत्रमात्रविदो
राजा
निवासं
समपृच्छत
॥
English Translation
Having ascertained only the name and the caste of his guest, and finding that he was shorn of Brahmanic splendour and Vedic studies, the king next enquired about the country of his residence.
