प्रलीनान्स्वेष्विवाङ्गेषु
निराहारांस्तपोधनान्
।
क्लिश्यमानान्मन्दबलान्गोष्पदे
संप्लुतोदके
॥
English Translation
They were exceedingly lean for want of food and they were much distressed when they fell into an indentation in the road caused by the hoop of a cow.
